Victor Mancini, a medical-school dropout, is an antihero for our deranged instances. Needing to pay elder look after his mom, Victor has devised an ingenious rip-off: he pretends to choke on items of meals whereas eating in upscale eating places. He then permits himself to be “saved” by fellow patrons who, feeling answerable for Victor’s life, go on to ship checks to assist him.
