Kingston DT50 64GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive $8.49 – good for Roku TV (110MB/s Read, 15MB/s Write)
I wanted to send some movies to my parents and my in-laws, both of whom have Roku TVs with USB 2.0. The media players on those TVs work with MKV (H.264), MP4, MOV (H.264), & TS (H.264) media files. 64GB is the largest capacity flash drive that consistently works; unfortunately, they are underpowered for portable SSDs. $7.99 is the cheapest ever for these backward-compatible flash drives according to camelcamelcamel. Write speed is up to 15 MB/s, and I get about 12 MB/s from my PC; the TVs read these drives without buffering on 1080p video files. If you luck out, like I did, Amazon Warehouse sells them for $6.49. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...53NWQ&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...53NWQ&th=1
