The RT-AX55 has four powerful external antennas, supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi, and can transfer up to 1201 Mb/s over the 5 GHz frequency and 574 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz signal, for a total throughput of 1775 Mb/s.
MU-MIMO allows for simultaneous communication with multiple devices while OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) breaks the wireless signal into small low-frequency sub-channels for farther reach.
Target Wake Time (TWT) enables the RT-AX55 to set designated intervals for devices to transmit data. Devices enter into a sleep state until it’s their turn, which reduces their power consumption and extends battery life.
